– New feature: Supports temperatures in Fahrenheit
– Now also available in Spanish in the Google Play Store
The days are getting shorter and rainier, the temperatures are dropping. Summer is coming to an end, and cold season is just around the corner. For the Cologne-based mobile specialists at TheAppGuys, this is the perfect time to reward their fans with an update for the “Fever” app. Starting now, feverish illnesses can also be managed in Spanish with this practical Android app. It is also possible for the first time to enter recorded body temperatures in Fahrenheit.
“Our “Fever” app kills two birds with one stone. On one hand, we are providing a modern application with which users can keep an eye on the progression of an illness using their own Smartphone. And on the other hand, from an internal perspective, “Fever” is a showcase app with which our developers can test new technologies and expand their programming skills. The current update is a direct result of the feedback we have received about the application. And this is the approach we would like to continue to take in the future,” explains Christoph Henkelmann, manager of TheAppGuys.
“Fever” is a useful tool for any feverish illness. The app enables you to create several patient profiles, so you can record, for example, all the members of one family. Every time a body temperature is measured, it can be entered for each person, and a fever diagram is created. The progression of the sickness can be determined at a glance by looking at the shape of the curve. Here it is also possible to display any medication that is being taken, in order to determine its effect. The fever diagram can then be exported directly out of the app as a csv file and sent, for example, to the doctor treating you.
Detailed information on the “Fever” app is available on the website: www.fieber-app.info. The latest version is now available for EUR 1.49/$1.99 from the Google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.theappguys.fever.
